Coming Back for Transplant at
University of Minnesota Medical Center

When the time comes to do your BMT, the process will depend on what kind of transplant you are having. Some autologous transplants can be done in the outpatient clinic. In other cases you will be admitted to the hospital. If you are having an allogeneic transplant, you will be in the hospital for several weeks for your transplant.

Click this link for a Pre-Transplant Preparation List to help you get ready before your stay in the hospital.

Click here, Coming Back for Transplant, to learn more about what will happen during your transplant and stay at University of Minnesota Medical Center.
